Pullman Auckland Hotel & Apartments, hotel in Auckland

Pullman Auckland Hotel & Apartments offers stylish accommodation with views of the city centre, harbour and surrounding parks.

I would like to commend the breakfast team at Tapestry, especially Halen, who made sure that we are well attended and was really kind to provide snacks to our picky toddler who needed some diversion at that moment so that we as parents could eat properly and enjoy our meal. The food were delicious and freshly prepared. The hotel's location is perfect. We had a beautiful view from our room.

FAQs about hotels in Auckland

Thrilling City of Sails and Volcanoes

Called the 'City of Sails' due to the large number of yachts anchored in Waitemata Harbour, Auckland is the largest city of both New Zealand and Polynesia. Built on the Auckland Volcanic Field featuring about 48 extinct volcanoes, this city truly offers a blast!

Auckland is a real cultural mix with strong Asian, European, Maori and Polynesian influences, celebrated in frequent festivals and sporting events. Some examples of these cultures can be seen at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, one of the best in New Zealand. For more, try the upmarket dining of the Viaduct Harbour.

Another must-see is the tallest free-standing tower in the Southern Hemisphere, the Sky Tower. If you’re feeling up to the challenge, you can even perform the Sky Jump, a controlled base jump from 192 metres!

Climbing the volcanic cones as well as the stunning Auckland Harbour Bridge will provide unforgettable, panoramic views of the city’s skyline. For a different perspective, why not try a cruise or sea kayaking?

Getting to the city centre is an easy trip from Auckland International Airport. Find modern hotels, comfortable motels and cheap hostels on Booking.com, sure to have the perfect accommodation for your holiday.

I lived in Auckland previously for about 10 years.

I lived in Auckland previously for about 10 years. So I know the city well. Traffic in this city is terrible, so you might want to avoid leaving your accommodation early in the morning or driving around from 3pm to 6pm on weekdays. It is a very convenient place for shopping, but it is not safe in some parts. t is best to avoid staying in the western and southern parts of Auckland if possible.

We were in Auckland for our daughter's Master's Graduation Ceremony so didn't really explore Auckland too much on this visit. It was super clean, modern and spacious. The bed was really comfy and had a sliding privacy/dividing door which was handy. Apart from check in issues, everything else was great. The offer for private airport transfers was useful and the driver was very polite and helpful. Very big bathroom as well which was easy to share with another person. Amazing location in regards to Sky Tower and the viaduct as well as the CBD. Good value for money overall especially in such an expensive city.

I also stayed for one night a week earlier. I asked for the same end room ’18’ which I thought was perfect. Clean with tv/wifi kitchenette and large bathroom. Could park outside the door - a unique electronic patio door mechanism. Quiet neighborhood on wide, quiet collector road. 10 minutes from the airport on the way out and close to the cross-city freeway (tried to stay out of Auckland traffic as much as possible).

We've been staying here for 23 years. The property is located close to town. The bed is comfortable and we always get a room with a view. The room is larger than similarly priced rooms in Auckland CBD. Breakfast is generous. Price is cheap for what you get.Free parking too. I don't like city driving so the bus being only $1.10 to town from right outside the driveway is fab. $8 for an uber.

The location was pretty much unparalleled for our reason for being in Auckland. It was right in the middle of the city, within a twenty minute walk to Spark Arena where we were watching a band play. Loads of restaurants and bars about, and an easy stumble back from the gig via most of those bars on the way home. Not too far from the airport either. Perfect for a quick one night stay.

The room was very comfortable. The location was good, close to city bus stops and two hop on hop off bus stops. The restaurant on the property was good, we had dinner there twice during our stay. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Local tour companies would pick us up at our hotel because of its nearness to downtown, as did the airport shuttle.
